Hi folks,
Please do continue the conversation begun today during our first noon-hour decolonization/Indigenization talk. I'd love to get your feedback on my poetry assignment, and to hear about your own experiences teaching similar content.

Thanks belatedly for this, Geoff (I managed to see the first twenty minutes). I also teach Indigenous poetry and have had similar experiences. It is inspiring to see that students are coming in better prepared to talk about Indigenous issues, especially as you said regarding boarding or residential schools. This makes it easier to dive into the work itself and spend more time analyzing its specific features.
