Do you think that teaching about Indigenous culture in early elementary would lessen the stereotypes that are out there about Indigenous people? ¶

I think that the sooner we can bring the information/history to our students about the Indigenous people of Canada the better as the longer we wait to introduce the topics the more time the students have to get false information and start to listen to the sterotypes that are out there about Indigenous people.
What are your thoughts?
