Hi Kristy - I really liked that you added a resource for teaching about residential schools in the classroom, because this topic can be very hard to share with students. As much as many may want to educate their students, they simply do not know how to begin because it is such a heavy topic. I think for elementary I would try and find an age appropriate book for the grade level and reach out for support on how to share with students about this topic after reading the book. You would want to do this the right way as it is important that students understand what happened but it has to be done properly. You also would want to analyze the grade level, therefore elementary teaching might be more limited and revolve around a book while higher grades you would want to bring in other resources.
