Where should educators begin?

Where should educators begin?

Many teachers may want to bring Indigenous teachings into their classrooms but are unsure of where to start. It would be so beneficial for every teacher to have acess to resources and ways for them to connect with individuals in the community who could support them. The question is where should a teacher go to access guidance and resources for bringing Indigenous material into their classroom?

I have found a couple different resources.
The ATA website

Learn Alberta

Not all schools have FNMI staff or specialists that work with the staff, but I believe that would be a great start to see what a school offers to their faculty in terms of resources and support.
