What are some of the barriers that prveent indigenous people from attending post secondary. Is there something the college or community can do help support students of indigenous backgrounds to persue higher education?

How do we navigate adressing indigneous culture while not dismissing other cultures. In my practicum we have a few students from india. How can we acknowledge indigenous cultures while not overshadowing other cultures?
