Do you have a favorite Indigenous resource that you will absolutely use in your K-6 classroom?
It can be a book, website, a game, anything that have come across that you would use in your classroom.

Does anyone have any local Southern Alberta Indigenous websites to get information or resources from?

Do you think that teaching about Indigenous culture in early elementary would lessen the stereotypes that are out there about Indigenous people?

I think that the sooner we can bring the information/history to our students about the Indigenous people of Canada the better as the longer we wait to introduce the topics the more time the students have to get false information and start to listen …

It looks like this could be one in Alberta, they aren't just focused on Films though but a lot of different arts within the indigenous community.

I agree. It was eye opening and is a must watch! I think if more people were able to have the experiences these people did, it would help change how average Canadians think about Indigenous people.
