-The importance of building and forming meaningful relationships
-Learned about the differences of their culture. (tattoos, hunting, poverty, traditions, ect.)
-The importance of not judging a book by its cover, and open your eyes more to see beyond what you already see.
-To not run away when things get tough, stay and fight for what you want.
-Be a guide for students who need you help, encourgage them, believe in them, and dont just give up when things get tough.

Lessons learned:
- Important to build classroom community
- understand the culture and background of your students
- Don't give up when the students don't follow along or pay attention.
- How important team work is for a classroom community

Lessons That I learned watching The Grizzles:
- That respect is key to gaining the trust of the students.
- That he created a community
- He gave them a purpose by introducing the game of lacross to the community
- He never gave up on his studetns
- He made it his job to make sure that studetns are in classes, at practice and still making sure they are meeting the needs of their families.
- That he gained more knowledge on what was taking place inside their homes and respecting the culture.

Lessons Learned

In the film The Grizzlies a foundational principle was about having an inclusive enviroment
As a teacher it is important to not judge students in the classroom becasue everyone home and lifestyles are different
Lacrosse was used to create positive relationships within the school and the community
