I really enjoy the book "Stolen Words" by Melanie Florence for div 1 students but I would also use it for older students as well.

This YouTube video is a presentation of a poem made by a grade two class, from Oak Bank, Manitoba, honoring residential school students. Very touching and one of the best resources I have come across. Can be used to promote discussion or for ELA inspirations, in younger students.

I found this resource that can be used for students in Grades K-3! It has units, lessons, and activities all included to help you bring Indigenous content into your classroom.
