I watched this video today when I came across it on my Instagram account, it made me cringe. I can only imagine how the indigenous student felt having to sit through that class.

I've thought about this too Talia, I don't think it's a simple answer but hopefully at our future schools we will have the community resources and someone like David that can guide us to teaching those students in a sensitive manner.

I also LOVE Nibi's Water Song! Sunshine is an incredible woman and an inspiration to indigenous entrepeneurs!

Akilak's Adventure is a really sweet story about an Inuit girl and her grandmother that can be used to teach about loss and adversity.

I also loved this series! I think it would be incredibly eye opening for people who may have opnions closer to those that appeared on the show to see what their ignorance looks like!
